Roll 01 / who you're hiring
I build audiences for arts organizations, and I can show you where the numbers moved.
Communications and content strategist with a CalArts BFA and a Johns Hopkins MA in Communication. From 2022 to 2026 I managed social media and communications for the School of Dance at CalArts, where I grew following by more than 30% and supported year-over-year enrollment increases of 17%. I built and led the digital content team there, ran paid campaigns across Meta, Google and LinkedIn, and shipped 100+ posts a year against the recruitment calendar.
Now I work freelance: I run communications for Burbank Dance Academy and take on short-form video and brand work for lifestyle and wellness clients — recent ones include Weelicious and Holistically Loved. On a contract with Allevalux, a lighting-technology startup, I ran the company's LinkedIn and grew views per post from 400 to 2,000.
My background is unusual for this field, and it's the reason the work lands. I came up as a dancer and movement director — credits in Man About Town, Flaunt, Hunger and RollaCoaster, plus commercial work: a session with John Legend, a print campaign for United Airlines, and shoots for Google across Beam, Pixel and Nest. I know what a shoot day actually costs, what a performer can give you on the fifth take, and how to make thirty seconds carry a whole program.
Strategy through execution — I do the planning and then I do the work.
Editorial calendars, channel planning and campaign arcs built around a real programming schedule.
Daily management, community response, and the monthly reporting that shows what actually worked.
Reels and TikToks shot, cut and captioned. Built to survive the first three seconds.
Positioning, voice and collateral that holds together across every channel.
One shoot, a season of assets. Shot list built around your calendar.
Editorial and commercial credits — the shoot-side experience most comms hires don't have.

What I plan in, build in, and measure with.
Tell me about the organization and what you're trying to grow. I'll come back with a point of view.
